Good evening =)
Hello all from Australia!
My dads a recently new owner of a 1973 Corvette.
Were mainly after some help analyzing the vin number.
On the 5th character of the vin apprently from what i've found its ment to have a K,T,X or W.
Ours has a J..? Can anyone explain what that means?

Well its not a good thing.
But I am the new owner of a 73 =(
19 and own a Stingray.
The old man unexpectedly passed away yesterday =(
I will drive it as much as I can because dad didnt buy it to be hiden. He bought it to be driven.
He just recently put the dukes of hazzard horns on it.
He loved those horns, His waited for many years to have those horns.
He lived his life long dream of owning a little red corvette.
Left hand drive, 4 speed, 350, Targa top.
It was everything he wanted since he was my age.
Every time I press those horns I will think of him =(

Whoa - I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. 
At least you two got to spend some time together enjoying that Classic Corvette honking "Dixie" and now it will always remind you of those good times. Good Luck & God Bless!
