Hello guys. I picked up a 63 convertible in June. Really wasn't looking for one, just came across it by accident and thought it would be a good project to get my 4 teenagers involved in.
It's not NCRS material... on its third body color, second interior color, 64 guages, purple engine...but it has great electrical, sound body, good bird cage and runs...so I call it the 63 Beater.
Thanks in large part to info on the forum, so far we have replaced the alternator eliminating the external reg, replaced the incorrect water pump, jet coated the exhaust manifolds, rebuilt a headlight motor and switch, painted the visible portions of the engine (orange) and converted the brakes to power assist with 67 master cylinder. ...and it still runs.
Finally got around to joining and look forward to being a part of forum.

Welcome to the Forum! Sounds like a good project for a Restomod. Better plan on getting three more or it might be a family discussion on who gets to drive it on date night
