Been researching this forum for a month. Already saved lots of time and money doing my own mods. Also bought several items thru the forum. My wife "inherited" an 05 C6, red, about two months ago! She's a bit afraid of it; and I say, "Ya babe, it's a little scary". So guess who gets to drive the vette most of the time? Love it. Can somebody help with a problem I have? The e-brake is totally useless. The handle works fine; I already took out the passenger seat, pulled the assembly off, looked for some sort of cable adjustment, could find none. Then took off both rear calipers (already changed pads as soon as we got the car); can't get the rotors off. Banged around, sprayed WD-40, nothing loosened the rotors. I know if I get the rotors off I can adjust the pads with the star adjuster, right? Any help would be appreciated. I've already looked at all the posts re: e-brake.

Nice of you to take the C6 off of the wife's hands. Good luck getting the parking brake functioning. If you plan on doing work, consider buying the shop manuals from Gene Culley or Fichtners.
