New from Spring Texas

Just purchased a new 2010 GS 3LT (Black with Ebony/Titanium two tone interior) today and really having a great time with the car. I ditched an e92 M3 for it and I can tell you that after having the C6 for just a couple of hours the BMW will not be missed.

Thanks for the welcome, not a complete Corvette noob, a couple of years back I had a 04 Z06. The new GS so far seems to be a huge improvement over the C5 Z06. It feels more solid and better put together, the power is smoother and stronger, and the manual seems friendlier. The old Z06 had rattles off the lot (not that I cared too much), and the ride started to wear on you after a while. I know that its probably right in line with the old Z06 performance wise, but it feels easier to drive hard, and is far more comfortable. I like the dual exhaust mode, but I will have to figure out how to control it. I may just pull the fuse (until the neighbors complain)!
My wife didn't particularly like the Z (its why I was in an M3 for a couple of years) and even she said she likes the GS!
I had forgotten what a great community there was among Corvette owners. Can't wait for a wave...we still do that right??
