Default New Impulse

Always knew I wanted to own a Corvette, just could never quite justify it. Went in to the dealer to get my Silverado's oil changed and left later that day with 2 vehicles (that's what I get for nosing around the back lot...lol).

My wife passed away unexpectedly at the end of 2011, way too young, and left behind two young children. I guess I'm in the mindset of "do it now". No regrets! Now that I own this beautiful car I'm questioning why I haven't owned one years ago...

I'm really glad to be a new member here and look forward to getting into this forum on a daily basis if possible. I don't plan on leaving my 'Vette alone and plan on finding out what everybody recommends and has experienced with theirs.

By the way, I bought a Red C6 LT3 Z51 Targa Coupe. It's ever so slightly used and I'm the second owner. The car is immaculate and rides and handles amazingly. I would however like to swap out the rims for dark ones (just like the look - not big on chrome, personal preference...).

So glad to finally become part of this community!

Matthias

Nice wheels! Welcome aboard!

I too want dark rims for my newly acquired black C6--too many other things to worry about now though. I'll probably keep the polished chrome for a year or two--CAI and exhaust are higher on my priority list.
