Hey everyone, so not to bore you I'll keep this short. I bought my 1980 (the year I graduated) last April. It was sitting at a local dealer for about a month. I had to drive by it several times a day, but I would never stop to talk to the owner. I knew what would happen. That's how I ended up with my first bike 15 years and three bikes ago. However, with my 50th birthday coming in June and the last kid finally out, I had to have this car. After some begging, pleading, and promising my lovely wife, who is also the voice of reason I desperately need, I bought it. One ride and she was convinced. I actually can't keep her out of it. My vette is a numbers matching 1980 L-48. Paint was originally Frost Beige, it is now yellow, my favorite. Vettes are supposed to be yellow and Harleys are supposed to be Black, that's my own opinion. The interior is doeskin (original) but I'm changing it to black. It runs great, starts every time, absolutely no rust underneath, spotless chrome rally wheels on touring T/A's. As I get into changing the interior I'm sure I'll be posting a bevy of questions.
