Dream come true
Hi guyz,
I am Akshat, originally from India. Currently, I live in Cincinnati, Ohio.I came here to study in 2009. Even in India, I had heard about Corvettes and how awesome was this car. When I came to US and when I saw a Corvette for the first time, it was breath-taking. I knew that I had to get one for myself.
So, 3 years later.... I bought a "new" C4 (1985) with 55,xxx miles on it. The car is awesome, although it rattles a little bit, but that can be expected from an almost 30 yr old car.
I know this should not be done, but I will have to make my Vette a DD for a couple of years, till I am rich enough to buy a second car. I like to work on my car and the Vette will take majority of my weekend. This weekend I plan to clean/vacuum it. Also, I plan to change the oil.
Anyways, this forum is really awesome. Keep up the good work.

Well I have read alot about not driving Corvettes in winter, due to salt and traction control. That's why.
Also, could you recommend what are good winter/snow tires for 85 Vette? I have read too much about the tires and I am suffering from TMI, not able to reduce the info.
This would be a big help.
