Another wannabe...
I'm in the very early consideration stage... have always loved Corvettes, but never owned one. Now that my sons are grown and on their own, this could be the opportunity... but I need to do quite a bit of evaluating first.
I'm not crazy about the new Stingray. But I've really liked the latest model, ever since Chevrolet stopped mfg. the pop-up headlights. (Of course, being an OldCoot, I liked the 58-62 models a whole lot, and the 67-427's with side pipes. The split window is probably way out of my price range, but like most, I've always liked that one, too.)
One thing I never thought I'd want... an automatic transmission... but I'm pretty sure that's what I'm going to get. I guess that proves I'm an OldCoot.
Hope it's okay if a look around for a while to evaluate things...

Do you know if there's a place on CorvetteForum.com that actually compares the different C6 model years (and makes it easier for lazy OldCoots) to evaluate them?

But I'd like more details, like dependability, problems, performance, etc., by year...
