PCV and vent question
I'm looking at a 1989 'Vette with 44K on it. There is an oily deposit around both the PCV valve and the breather valve on the opposite valve cover. Why and is it a major problem? Thanks......Dan (Dzer)

Welcome to CF. They do have specific tech forums for asking problems such as yours here on CF, but your car is 25 years old and the system your talking about passes oil vapors thru them, the lines (being 25 yrs. old) may need to be replaced.
