Hi everyone and thanks for having me. I am 57 and have wanted a Corvette since I was 7.
Never could afford one. Well I'm not getting any younger or richer, so I stepped out on a limb last week and pulled the trigger. No regrets, love it.

Welcome! It is a small world... I'm also relatively new to the forum and live in the Pflugerville area as well... I'll wave if I see you... My Corvette is a Frost Beige 1980.

Small world indeed.
I'll be looking for the 80.
I'm in Gatlinburg subdivision along with a neighbor who has a black 69.
Thanks for the welcome guys.
Will post pics when I figure out how.

I had to google it to find where that subdivision is. I'm not far from there, on the other side of Dessau between Olympic and Wells Branch North-South and between Heatherwilde and 10th East-West. Someone not to far from here has a gray C1, looks like either a '59 or a '60, but I rarely see it enough to tell for sure. Its a slight restomod with a bit of a rumble to it when it rolls by. Mine is mostly stock/original and a work in progress as I still need to do a lot of little things and some major freshening of the the interior.

Just thought I'd add some details...
Purchased from Georgetown TX six days ago for $5200.
Bone stock no mods w/ 173k miles.
Everything works except power antenna.

That's a pretty good price. I like the pics you posted... really pretty color.

I drove around your neighborhood a little today in my 1980... Noticed a couple other Vettes including a white 1980 on Greenway Drive that looks like it needs some help and a red C4, not sure what year, but probably around 1985-1987.

The white C3 hasn't moved since he moved in 6 years ago.
The red C4 hasn't moved for the 15 years I've been here.
A co-worker has a black C4 about 1/8th mile behind P-ville fire dept.
I visited neighbor with black C2 this afternoon.
We need to hook up Softwarejanitor. Buzz me @ 5124312476 anytime.

The C4 I saw looked like it had probably moved more recently than that, so maybe there is another one. I can believe the white 1980 has been sitting that long, it looks like it. Being as I've been guilty of such neglect I can't say too much... other than I hope that someday the owner gets around to doing something with it before it is too late. I wonder how much it would take to get that C3 going again... it looks mostly complete, but so did mine when it was hauled to the shop and according to what people say around here I spent a lot more getting it going again than what I could sell it for... Alas...

Its too late to ring you now, I just got home... went to see the Lost Austin Band at The Roost over in Wells Branch tonight. Good show, nice venue.
