As an owner of a '72, I would say go for the brakes, suspension first. That is more important. I ended up wrecking mine(now 90% put back together after getting fixed) as it needed suspension work and I opted to do it later and continued to drive it. Do the more important work first.

Also would love to see some pictures of the '73!
Here you go! I'll try to get better picks after a washing :-)

Got underneath the car this weekend and it looks like the exhaust is going to need more love at the moment. The pipes coming off the headers that go through the cross member are making contact on acceleration (torquing over) and could use some re-positioning. Flanges need to be redone too :-/
Fortunately it has new springs, shocks and sway bar bushings. Also - I drive pretty easily right now. I've got 335i and Mazdaspeed 3 for the twisties until I can update the Vette :-)

I just got my first Vette - a 1973 Medium Blue Coupe 4 speed. It's in pretty nice shape, but needs a few odds and ends to be just right.
Debating fully restoring the interior, or making the suspension/brakes a little more modern/drivable.
Either way - to say I am happy with my car is an understatement :-)
Welcome to the forum... I'm out in the Pflugerville area... I've got a 1980 C3 and a 1984 C4... Your 1973 looks nice... If you want any local Corvette resources let me know... You might check out the Longhorn Corvette Club and there are a couple of Corvette specialist shops in N. Austin... Corvette Country along MOPAC/Loop1 and Austin Corvette on N. Lamar. I haven't done any business with Corvette Country since their ownership has changed but they are sponsors of the club. Austin Corvette has worked on both of my cars and I have not had a problem with their work.
