Hello, I have been a member for a couple of years, but never posted and rarely visited. I'm now going to change that. My name is Brad and I live in the south. I've had 7 Corvettes over the years and just bought a C7 ZO6.
I raced in SCCA for the better part of 15 years: Improved Touring (Mazda RX7); T1 (Corvette 02 ZO6); STO and GT2 (Corvette 03 ZO6). I'm also a HPDE instructor and instructed at the local Nascar Driving Experience for many years as a volunteer.
One reason I didn't post was that the racing was consuming enough that I really didn't have time to do anything else besides it, work, and family. I just listened to the guys that built my cars and the other racers. They always had good information. I've recently quit racing and plan on just driving the C7 to and from work and around town, however, my normal driving is sliding loose/crossed up in the corners and shifting at red-line a fair part of the time. I love Corvettes.

So, that's it in a nutshell. Thanks for reading.
Welcome Brad! It sound like you could teach us a few things about Corvettes.
Thanks JalopyBob and thanks Kedwin. Bob, I have had a fair amount of competition experience, but I'm back on the Forum to learn some new things myself. I quit racing in 2012 and just bought a new C7 ZO6. In fact I just brought it home from the dealership. I don't know how to post pictures yet, but will learn and do so.
