Newbie Looking for a C5
Greetings all. The lure and siren call of a Corvette is finally getting to me and I'm in the market for a C5, preferably a 2003 or 2004. I've gone through a lot of articles and links and forum posts. Have not decided if I want a coupe / fastback with Targa roof or the Z06. The convertible is only mildly of appeal to me.
Thanks to old F-14 buddy Bruce Contess in KC for assisting with this and answering my dumb questions. Bruce and I were in the Wolfpack of Fighter Squadron One over 30 years ago.
All this from a deeply-entrenched Ford guy and 43-year motorcycle rider. My BMW oilhead will get a good detail and maintenance update and then go for sale.

Many thanks. Where in Virginia are you? I'm still a ways out from getting a Vette, but would like to visit someone and get a good personal tour and discussion of the goods and bads of the car and the typical Chevy service stuff.

We just returned home after almost three weeks in NC. My wife's mother died last month and we've been there working all the probate stuff.
Perhaps I can arrange with you in the next couple of weeks to come see your car.
