Welcome Mike to the Forum!
Your 327 stamp 5116320 is the vin# for a '65 block, the Stamp F0330 is F = Flint assembly plant, 03 = the 3rd month which is March, and the 30 is the 30th day of the month... the HK suffix is 327/365 hp, with a/c, with manual transmission.
Bruce, I was also wondering if the VIN on the car should match some way shape or form the engine numbers. The VIN does not have any of the numbers in it from the engine.

What does this say about the car?
Mike
Yes, the vin# on the engine should match the vin# on the car for a matching #'s car.
The 327 engine was replaced at one point in time over the last 40 years.

Sorry to keep bugging you Bruce, But at this time you are my only source of knowledge. Is the VIN# under the glove box on this year of car. What books do you suggest I buy to learn about this stuff?

Welcome aboard Mike. You really should post your questions in the C1 & C2 section. StingU2 is a great member and really knows his midyears, but you should get ever a better response posting here:
