New Member Intro
Greetings Corvette Forum Members!
My name is Daniel and I have finally decided to make an account here on the Forum. I grew up in Bowling Green, KY and in the surrounding area; in fact, I live there now. Because of this, I have always been able to see bits and pieces of all the different events that Corvette clubs across the nation organize here in BG (of which there are MANY). To take it a step further, I am a second generation UAW worker at Bowling Green Assembly, so the Corvette is and always has been a big part of my life.
I'm only 23 years old and haven't been in a position to own a Corvette feasibly yet, but that is going to change with the year. I am looking to buy a C5 Z06. I've always been a fan of the C5 Z; I even had one posted on my wall as a kid. As an adult, I also see the C5 Z06 as the best performance for the cost. I am hoping to hold out and find a nice example of a 24 Hour of LeMans Commemorative Edition Z. Can't say it will see the NCM track that much, but I do plan on driving it on a regular basis during the good months and getting involved in some of the local clubs. I look forward to exploring the site and becoming an active member here on the Corvette Forum. Thank you!
