Greetings! I just fulfilled my 50 year dream of owning a Corvette. Two weeks ago I purchased my first Vette, a 2006 C6 Z51 Velocity Yellow Convertible, 29,950 miles(though I've already driven 1,000 miles...new owner excitement ) 6 spd manual, Nav center, I'm the 3rd owner, it has been extremely taken care of so much its showroom condition inside & out. I didn't think I would like a yellow car period but this Velocity Yellow is mesmerizing! I hope to learn a wealth of Corvette info and enjoy being with fellow Vette owners here on this forum! Thanks for having me!woohoo:

Welcome. I share your joy as this is my first Corvette also. Let the Perma-Grin Begin!!
Well thank you and congratulations to you as well! That's quite a looker...which model is yours? My wife said that My feet didn't touch the ground for week. Lol I was at our dealer taking care of the low beam headlight recall this last week and when the service manager asked what car that I had and I said 2006 Corvette , I had to pinch myself, lol. I STILL can't believe that I finally own one. It's more than I could've dreamed it to be! ENJOY!

Mine is a '12 ZR1. I came from a Camaro ZL1 which was at 700rwhp and it was an amazing car. I built it to be reliable but also to be a performer in which it was. When the opportunity came for me to own a ZR1, I didn't hesitate one second!!!
I look forward to learning the ZR1 as I've read hundreds of articles about the car and I'm sure it will live up to what I've read!!
Congrats again on yours and ENJOY!!!
