Hello from new C5 owner
I purchased my c5 in January. I picked it up at a very low price as needed some tlc. The paint was trashed and interior was black and gray but needed some help
Started by going though the entire vehicle and making a parts list. I then began my research and purchasing. I decided to vinyl wrap my car. So I dropped it off for long process. As my buddy removed every panel to wrap it as you would never know it was black. And then wrapped it in paint protection film. We tinted the windows twice and then did all the inside. Removing all the gray. That was done. Then slapped new wheels on. Then to detail shop to ceramic cost the car. While that was going on I installed the air raid and axle back. Lowered on stock bolts. But going lower as not the look I wanted. Well 17th of april I will install the cam LTs xpipe and dyno tune at RCI. Then who knows. But only been 4 moths and I think I brought the car back to what it should be as the previous owner did not take care of it.

You know what, that's it!--I am going to remove the rear spoiler on my arctic white C5. Your pics are the deal breaker
I am actually jealous of your exterior. The thing is I am in the same boat as you --the previous owner didn't take care of the exterior. So, I also completely understand when you say you've been trying to find the time. Simply put, I have been slacking on working on my car, but it's time to catch up to you!

its ts been fun transforming it. I was worried about wrapping it and my color choice. But told them my thoughts and they made it look like paint. Everything seems to be coming together. And the boxes of parts are slowly diminishing. so it's almost on it's way. What are your plans on yours?
As for the interior, I plan to go with the mod red, just the seats and door panels really.
After coming across your post, I may just even vinyl wrap the exterior too since nothing is coming up with body shops... And I do love your seats as well.
You just made me very indecisive now on what I should do

well let me know if you need any help wit decision. Possibly a lot of work regardless of paint or wrap. Not sure what area you are in. But if I can help with wrap or paint let me know. I get discounts in my area. So do t hesitate to hit me up. I am always willing to help. Best case I want your vehicle to where you are happy.
Seeing that the amount of time I spent searching for a shop, I'm deciding to purchase used OEM parts. I'm waiting on parts that are already in color white. Found some on eBay, so we'll see what happens.
The deal breaker is making sure that the fiberglass has no cracks and that the mounting tabs are not cracked or bent. Then when everything is in great condition, I will send the car out to be painted all the same color in Arctic White.
I actually just purchased the OEM pop-up headlights from a guy here in NJ, and he is in the same boat in trying to find a shop. The funny thing is that he also has a white C5

I shared this post of yours to him if you don't mind
