I'll probably generate much hate here, but I picked up a 1980 chassis and a cracked, tired, rusted-out body (how is it even possible???) for use in budget endurance racing series (24 Hours of Lemons and the like). We're rather well-known in the community - Team Sputnik. So...
Prayers for that poor car, please.
We're hoping to roll out this beauty at the race in Lexington, Kentucky - the Corvette Museum track, of course! I'll be on here in the coming months asking for advice on original configuration (the car came in missing both bumpers, gas tank, and most of the misc. hardware), and hopefully to showcase the final result once the build is done. Wish me luck and don't forget your pitchforks!
