Thanks in advance!
Thanks fir the add!
I am relatively new to the world of Corvettes. I have been an avid performance freak since I was small enough to sit between the bucket seats of my uncles 71 Maverick Grabber Boss 302 transplant with a toploader and 4:10 gears and yank on the Hurst T handle. I have had more than a few Gm performance vehicle's and my 1/2 ton Silverado almost daily sports a Dart headed full roller 383. Couple weeks ago buddy of mine purchased a used Z06 6speed..I thought he said 02 03 maybe Im sure he said he paid around 20k..stock other than exhaust....anyway he tossed me the keys (I had never driven one) and said see ya when ya get back! I did come back, although I did not want too!!. Here is the problem..I fricken fell in love with the car and now I HAVE to have one. I am in the market sub 30k lets say. Please bestow a lil knowledge on the FNG...Best years/ best performance/ years to stay away from in this price range... And go!! Thanks in advance!

Welcome. If you're looking at a C5 to buy, just spend some time in the various C5 sections of the forum - lots to learn there.
There are a number of stickies at the top of the page in the C5 General and C5 Tech sections that you should pay particular attention to - one on buying a Corvette, one on what every new owner should know and one about weights/measures/etc.
If you decide to purchase a different generation of Corvette than a C5, visiting those sections will help you also.
