Hello CorvetteForum!
My name is Adam and I'm waving all the way from sunny Southern California. More specifically, Lakewood, CA. Or Long Beach if you want to be general.
I have a 2002 Z06 in gorgeous Millennium Yellow. This C5 Z06 is my first entry into the Corvette realm, but I am all but way too familiar with Corvettes. In fact, mine was actually my father's before I acquired it and he's owned multiple Corvettes before his unfortunate passing last year. Most notably he owned the 1998 Indy 500 Pace car, a few C2s and a C4 ZR1 which was probably one of his favorites. If anyone in here recognizes the Vette Set from Manhattan Beach(I believe?) he was the president and a board member for many years for that particular club.
While I'm just introducing myself NOW, I've been lurking on CorvetteForum for years looking at technical advice, the classifieds, and just random news. In fact, I just changed out the starter in my Z06 all by myself using a thread from this forum.
They say once you own a Corvette, you're a Corvette owner for life, and I find that to be undoubtedly true. I'm keeping my C5 Z06 forever, but my DREAM car is a 2013 C6 Z06 in yellow, with the factory headlight blackout housing option.
I'll probably introduce my car to the forum at some point in time, I've done a few "mods". My most notable being the installation of some Recaro seats with alcantara and red stitching out of an Evo IX MR SE. They're absolutely beautiful and match my future plans for my interior.
Oh, and my car is not a garage queen by any imagination. It's got rock chips, a few scrapes and what not. I love canyon driving and plan to enter into a few road racing track days in the summer to hone my skills. I will eventually give the car a full repaint when it gets too bad, or in a few years. This car more than deserves it after the years of ownership in my family. Fun fact, I currently work at the Chevy dealership that we bought this car at so it's kind of funny seeing people start their own journey when they come in to buy a Corvette.
Well, I'll cut it short. Anyways, if you see a MY Z06 roaming around SoCal (more than likely Angeles Crest Highway), it's probably me! Or ironically my friend Jean who also has a MY Z06. Nonetheless, enjoy my photographs (I'm a photographer by trade) of my Z06!
Cheers,
Adam

Congrats. on your C5 Z06, and thanks for sharing the great photos!
