new member :)
I am settle a bit far away from the birth Corvette's country... I mean I leave in France
(south of Paris). By advance, my appologies if my school english lessons may sting your eyes while reading this! I'll try to do my best in order to introduce myslef as clearly as possible
to the point :
I recently sell my C6Z06 exterior painted in red victory, interior black and beige (european versions, gets 3lt, only imports here have less than this trim) after almost 3 years of great ride and enjoying this beast I would change!!
Obviously while owning "her", I did all GM didn't about this fabulous 7liters (rockers, valves, etc...). Although, in my "club" last 2 months 3 members breaks their ls7 (1 race it, 2 other was riding in clear road)... I wouldn't play this game so I update it in time

Anyway, this was a great car and after owning old Porsche and Alfa Romeo, that was a big step in performance. No replacement for displacement as you say!! I begin to find this sentence correct!
I have the chance to know a friend who own the last C7 convertible (black ext and red int) and I test drive this car a lot aside the new C7Z (yellow ext and full option int)... Well those last Corvette opus are great! However I would return to my "ancient one first love" and this is the purpose of my introducing, I would own a C2 ou a C3 (if possible in big block before they raise to high in value...).
I don't know why but old get me the thrill ON!
after looking for a F355 I change my mind and I would own a fat US V8... I've been bite roughly by my Z06 maybe ??And certainly, it's because a friend of my parents own two C2 including one split window (with all the perfect option of this era and trim...), astonish car but clearly, it's unafordable for me right now... I Need to work a bit harder!! But if I do, my wife will kill me, I cannot let her alone with our young baby to make €€ ($$). And even if I do this, she will force me to buy a new house before I park a vintage car barely valued 150/170k€ in our garage... I gess all who are maried with child(s) in charge understand me well

Thank you for welcoming a little "frenchie" here, I'll read and continue to learn from Corvette forum and information in the Corvette black book in order find the perfect C2, C3 at reasonable price, and not just a repainted car out from a junk as we find a lot in some profesionnals vendors. Here in Europe (or France) our professionnals dealers are shabby when they are not simple swindler... they all sell matching numbers they're not in fact all at low 100k$. And when you finally find cars around 30-40k$ it's because they are import that even US citizens don't want
I mean rusty, what else ^^Hope to find my beauty soon! thank you for reading me (all those who entirely read this... novel
)Like we said here between us (riding motorcycles and fast cars) :"V à tous"

Bienvenue sur Corvette Forum.
Bonne chance dans votre recherche pour votre prochaine Corvette (et rester en panne avec votre épouse).

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
As you know/guess on "corvettepassion" I would rather have the upcoming C7 ZR1 (to keep it and give it to my little child one day...), but this will cost me a divorce

My wife is OK if I spend money in a classic one. But unearth a real beauty C2 (not necesserly in big block but in top condition) or a C3 (big-bloc 435hp) is a not an easy path...
V

Good luck in your search!
