Hello everyone
Hi everyone. Just wanted to reach out and introduce myself. Took a chance and purchased a used 1999 coupe with high miles and many stored codes in the DIC including the dreaded C1255H for the ABS as well as C1225H 1nd C1232H. I was really looking for 01-04 vert but couldn't pass up the price. I cleared the codes put some miles on and fixed the obvious.... cleaned and repaired ABS harness LF & RF wheels and everything went away. Put about 500 miles in since and so far, so good.
I have a few questions and remarks to share with the group and hope to be a contributing member. I owned a repair shop until 2001 and owned a few vettes in the past, C2 big block, cpl C3's and cpl C4's but my favorite was the 65 big block which I sold when I opened my repair shop in 1980. God, I wish I still had that one. Unfortunately a replacement is well out of my price range...
