Any advice is welcome.

After this weekend I had planned to post in one of the generational specific forums, but until then the question still seems too vague to me.

I figure I owe it to anyone that might answer to come up with the best question, or questions I can.
Hi again, Erik:
Trying to help someone select a car for them is always a little harder than selecting a car for yourself.
Rather than trying to post questions immediately, you might find it best to focus on a particular generation. It appears that you have decided, based upon your mother's input and evaluation of her budget that she will be most interested in a C7. With that in mind, focus on the C7 section of the Forum. I'd recommend starting in the General section: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...iscussion-142/. Read the stickys at the upper part of the section and then read the articles/questions that seem applicable to questions your mother might have. Then, perhaps, look at the C7 Tech/Performance section: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...rformance-169/. Again, read the questions/topics that appear to relate to questions your mother might have. With that understanding in mind, you will be in a great position to ask more focused questions.
Last, I would encourage you and your mother to look at the C7s Forum members have for sale: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-for-sale-161/. You might find the perfect Corvette there.
Good luck with the search!

Yes, absolutely, that's what I'm doing currently.

I wholeheartedly agree that helping someone with this is much more difficult than searching for myself.

My interest in asking is that things show up in cycles, yesterday and today seem to be focused on "cold" weather and summer tires.

Previously it's been A8 converter issues, before that is was gas door locking bypass or disable and of course the various rattles and squeaks some seem to find.

Hence my questions, as what shows in the stickies are possible concerns, but I'm trying to ask what would a current owner have most liked to know, before purchasing, and how that would have affected their decision.

Thank you for your list.
