Intro!
Hi All, long time Vette-lover and new member to the forums. Will be seeking advice in the C6 forums.
Some background/intro first! I've owned 13 vehicles in the last 10 years ranging from a built off-road tool of an '89 Bronco II, to a purpose built drift car, a few motorcycles, and my current toy which is a 400hp BMW 135i. I previously lived in NJ, with a house & garage and plenty of storage space. Moved to DC and into an apartment spending more for a 1-bedroom place than we did on a 3000sq/ft house with 2 car garage and full acre of land lol. Had to downsize the stables to 2 cars (one for me, one for wife) as a result of the move. My wife and I love the area so we're planning to buy a house here in the next year, which means it's time to jump back into the dual car, DD + weekend toy setup!
I have always loved Vette's and I think it's time I made a move on one. I've been eyeing the C6 z06's, as well as some particularly clean base models in the 09+ range. I really like the face lift of the 09's for the standard model but would also love an earlier year z06. I drive my cars very hard, and as often as possible. I've put 40k hard miles on the 135i since I bought it about 2 years ago. I plan to keep the C6 "mostly" stock, as I think the power range will satisfy me for a while.
Looking forward to lurking through the forums and getting advice from members/owners before I make a purchase
