Been lurking for awhile but sometimes I'd like to ask questions so my intro is as follows...

I was looking for one C3 and found two, a 69 Roadster and a 71 Coupe. Both these cars have a lot of questions. Please let me in ...

On the surface there appears to be quite a contrast in the two cars although it's tough to tell what all was done to the '71.
I'd suggest posting this in either the General or Tech/Performance section of the forum at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1968-1982-5/.
Best wishes with your selection.

I'm sorry, I was trying to post in the INTRO section of the forum. Obviously I ended up in New Threads. Still not sure how I done that.

You did post in the Intros section but what was suggested was if you have specific questions on your C3s, it would be best to post them up in either the C3 General or C3 Tech sections. That's where you will get answers from very knowledgeable members.

Welcome to the forum, and that blue '69 is a stunning car.

Nice! Welcome aboard. (I’m confused if you bought both or are trying to choose between the two?). I vote for the blue Coupe. Good luck either way!

Ok, yes, I found the C3 section while I have been lurking last while. It's good to know at least my intro went in the right spot.

Thank you for the welcome and the compliment but you got the cars mixed up... the green one is 69 and the blue is 71. The 71 is really very, very sweet. The guy I bought from spent tons underneath is all new except for body off, front coils, and I put Bilsteins all the way around.

No confusion for me... I had to have both. I was looking for the 71 coupe and along the way I tripped over the green 69. The 71 really doesn't need much even the wiper door and headlights worked when I got it last spring but the other day neither worked so I'll be looking for clues in the C3 section. The 69 makes my heart flutter but last week it came down with leaky rear caliper syndrome otherwise it works well as a daily driver for my morning coffee
