1st Time owner
Found this forum today after I bought my 1st Vette yesterday. Thought it'd be a good place to connect with fellow owners, and get much needed advice.
I went to the Syracuse Nationals this past weekend and bought a 1995 Corvette coupe, auto, targa (is that what Chevy calls it????) Top.
I've been looking at Vettes for about 2 years now, and have never driven one before now. I wasn't expecting to buy one this past weekend but the car is nice and the price was very reasonable. And thought it'd be a good Vette to start with.
So, after I got plates and ins. on it, driving it home was the first time driving one. I was very impressed by the power and handling. It was raining slightly so I took it pretty easy with it. However, I did put my foot in it on a straight stretch of the Thruway, when I was doing 70, and it went to 100 in a heartbeat.
So, anyway, thanks for reading. I look forward
to advice and reading about other Vettes on here.
