Hi,
Joining the forum a little late. This is my 3rd vette, but my first Z06. My previous two were C5 base models and I had just traded in my 01 C5 with about 176K miles for a 2018 Mustang GT premium. After six months I couldn't take it anymore and I thought I was going to get a 2018 GS. The local Hendricks dealership had a pricing error online and had C7 Stingrays advertised for $42k so it got me thinking about a GS. The GS wasn't ready to look at or test drive when I got there(still on the truck) so I saw a 2018 Z06 on the lot and decided to test drive that one while waiting. I shouldn't have done that. When I finally got to test drive the GS there was just no going back from the Z06. With some good negotiating tips from my wife(she used to sell Lincolns) via text I got them to come $13K off the sticker price. Completely happy with it, but I now have a nightmare situation going on with it that I'll post in the C7 area. It involves dogs and I assume a cat. sigh.
