Me Too!!!
Hi guys/girls, I picked up an '82 with t-tops and a 350/carb truck motor. Guess someone removed the old crossfire (Misfire...lol) and dropped a truck motor into it. Glad to be here as I need lots of advising on the various subjects involved in restoring an older vette. It does still have the 700R4 transmission. Not in too bad of a shape, just needs lots of tlc. Thanks for the welcoming committee!

Thanks everyone. I just finished driving (round trip) 1684 miles, from Eclectic, Al to key west and back. That did not include the motorcycling around south Fl. Asked my youngest son (hes 31 on the 26th) what he would like for his bday. He wanted me to hookup the car hauler trailer with my VN2000A on it and drive down to Tampa (478 miles to get there) and then load up his bike (Suzuki M109R). Leave the next morning and drive down to Miami (280) and stay one night and park the truck/trailer. Get up the next morning and cruise the bikes down to key west (166 miles) to stay a night and ride around all over the place. Then turn around and do it all in reverse...lol I told him to make the reservations and I would make it happen. Had a great time and he hugged me and said it was the best bday ever!. Sounded like music to my ears. Let me tell you, a 62 year old banged up fellow sure had a backache/buttache to beat all...lol It was well worth it to make those memories with him. Went on the return trip, on the bikes, up the Tamiami Trail. Stopped and took an airboat ride into the everglades to see the gators. I was really glad to get home before dark. Lots of miles and lots of memories. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamiami_Trail
