Hi all,
I am not a Corvette owner. But, I am strongly considering buying a used C5 or C6. I am a Porsche guy; I have a Boxster and an older 911 turbo.
I wanted to ask a question, which is sort of silly, but will two sets of golf clubs fit in the trunk of a C5 or C6 convertible, or an FRC? I can't carry golf clubs in either Porsche, and I'm thinking the Corvette is a bit more spacious. Also, I was at the track maybe 10 years ago or so, and the Corvettes that were there were track monsters. I think they were Z06's.
So, what I want is a car that handles well, and can fit golf clubs. I'm getting older, and strapping the clubs onto the trunk rack on the Boxster is becoming a chore.

I can answer that they will fit in the trunk of a C6 convertible, if you have the top up. Allows additional storage space.
C5 should be similar, can't answer related to FRC as I had a C5 coupe and there was plenty of space in the rear hatch area.

Do the golf bags fit with the top down? I live in NJ and have a house in Sarasota. So, I want to be able to play and tool around in Florida with the top down. Next thing is to find a Corvette for Florida. I need to delete some Porsches first.
