I have owned a C4, a C6 (Z06) and now a C7 Grand Sport Convertible (Elkhart Lake Blue). I also own other sport cars and motorcycles, but the Vettes keep bringing me back. As I approach 70, it was time to climb into a Corvette cockpit again. Call it a birthday present to myself. The initial setup was a challenge, but several sessions of an hour each and I have it set where I want it. The styling is beautiful, the hood, rear end, and stance are awesome. On the road, pure fun, exhaust at track setting, ride on tour, the neighbors know it's presence.
I have been a member here in the past, but logged off when the Z06 was retired. Nothing wrong with the Z just not compatible with knee replacements. This "gettin' old" thing isn't all it's cracked up to be. Nevertheless I've returned and will follow the issues raised in this excellent blend of opinions.
Sounds just a bit fishy. I remember when my 1968 Z28 was stolen, insurance payment, how many days lapsed before payment, rental car, spot where the car was stolen from, what I was doing wen car was stolen, change I used to make a phone call (pay phone - a silver dime) and replacement car That happened in 1968.

Welcome back to the forum and to the world of Corvettes, John!
Understand what you're talking about with added years, and knee replacement. We, too, drive a two-pedal these days, but....it's still fun!
