I am looking to join the chosen order out there who own a Vette and right now undecided between a C4 or C5! I am from the UK and have lived in Texas for 4 years and have been to get a Vette for a few years before even moving here.
I really look forward to reading the forum messages and will be posting another message looking for thoughts / guidance on a C4 that I have looked at within the metroplex area.

Welcome and best of luck in your decision of a C4 or C5. Having had four C4s and three C5s, my recommendation would be to go for a C5, but only you can determine which generation would be best for you.
Welcome to the Forum!
Like others, we have had and enjoyed both generations (C4/C5).
There are people who could make good arguments for either of the C4 or C5 to be the better option for you. I would really encourage you to try and drive both generations and see what really "fits" your driving preference. (C4 is definitely easier to work on the engine with the clamshell hoodl but, C5s are easier for most people to get into and out of).
Hope you have a Corvette in your garage soon!
