Hi everyone, I work on about everything but mostly motorcycles, mainly Harley. Dirt Tracked motorcycles for 20yrs quit 10 years ago but now building a 1200 sportster Hooligan race bike. BUT that got put on hold a couple weeks ago when My Neighbor of 25 years decided to sell his C3 Corvette (seen it in the garage under cover but never saw it uncovered). He's an older gentlemen who our family helped through the years with his animals (we are rural). He said he would like to get 2K for it. So I told him I would look at it. Now It's been sitting under that cover for 26yrs I thought it would be all eaten up by rodents and who new what else. I pulled the cover off and oh my god it wasn't bad at all. I told him I would give him the 2K and Pulled it home (not even a mile). Cleaned it up and it looks like the day he stored it. changed the oil put a battery in it and to our shock it fired right up and ran (we forgot to drain out the fuel tank) on 26yr old gas. Tells ya the quality of gas back then to now. Have to redo the rear brakes and the front and rear bumpers are all cracked apart so they need to be replaced. Everything works the power antenna the vacuum headlights the power windows all gauges but clock I can't believe it. I'm that guy that found a barn find, I'm still in shock. I bought this for my Wife but it will be a fun journey. Thanks for having me, and looking forward to your expertise for when I need help.

Looks fantastic for a car that has been sitting for a quarter of a century and hard to beat the price you paid. Congrats, good luck with the car and welcome to the forum.
