I come from the 4-door vette world (CTS-V, Impala SS) but just picked up a blown up C4 Convertible 6 speed with some go fast parts. I'm familiar with the 2nd Gen LT1 and just got done pulling the motor and tearing it down. (BTW...C beam engineer should be shot on site). #6 rod bearing is toast as is the crank. With Edelbrock heads, ported intake and long tube headers, it should be a nice cruiser when reassembled. Now looking to source some parts and excited to rebuild the car and getting it back on the road.
I live near Road Atlanta and track the CTS-V but no plans to put a roll cage in this car.
