Default Hello all and help requested for a newbie

Hey all - I have been lurking here for a while now and want to thank everyone on this forum for such great advice. What a great community! It sure has helped in narrowing down my first Corvette. I have been in love with Corvettes since I was a kid and my older sister's boyfriend showed up with his brand new yellow '79 to pick her up for a date Many, many years later, I am at a point to pick one up for myself. I have mechanical abilities, so am able and want something that I can tinker with but would also prefer to not buy a full on project car. This wont be a daily driver. More of a Car's and Coffee driver. Not looking to do a full restoration. C3's are my choice of body style and prefer 68-73. Would prefer a BB but not married to it. I would like to stay below $25k. From what I can tell, that should be able to get me what I am looking for.

With all that in mind, there is one that is currently up for sale here on the C3s for Sale/Wanted forum: 1968 427, International Blue Coupe $21k, Philly, PA.

Any and all thoughts would be much appreciated here. I am in Oklahoma, so it really is not feasible to go to PA to check the car out myself and would be having it transferred down here if I bought it. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Welcome to the Forum!
I am sure many of us understand your interest in a big block C3.
I would encourage your to also place this posting in the C3 General section https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1968-1982-5/.
You may also want to try the Regional discussion page that covers PA; perhaps someone there is familiar with the car or could check it over for you. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/northeast-40/
Best wishes with your search and hope you have a C3 in your garage soon!

Welcome, but you have this same thread posted in multiple sections of the forum. I am going to close this one and let the one in C3 General continue on. Good luck in your search.
