Hi everyone! I live in the St. Louis area and got a wild hair to look around at what was for sale and couldn't pass up buying this beautiful C3 as a Christmas present for my girlfriend and me. We named her Vanessa. She's not perfect but we're absolutely in love with her. We wanted a "project car" but our definition of that term is a little stricter than most DIYers who wouldn't mind needing a welder and a paint booth. We're going to bond over turning wrenches on this C3 to clear up leaks, squeaks, and loose belts but the previous owner did the heavy lifting on the preservation work and we love that.
I'm on this forum in order to ask questions, see people's techniques and tips, and learn more about what it takes to be a good C3 owner and enthusiast. I hope to be a good part of the community and share cool updates on Vanessa as we do work over time. Thanks for letting me on board! The pretty girl who joined our family.
