I know the feeling somewhat. When I turned 50, on the day of my birthday, I ordered a custom C 7 Stingray 2014 Z51, 6 speed auto, performance exhaust and magnetic selective ride control, in night race blue metallic, kalahari leather with napa suede inserts, summer tires, black 5 spoke wheels and red calipers. Received it 3 months later. Gorgeous. A year and half later things were not well financially and kids school, college tuition, their living expenses etc, made me sell it. I regretted it but needed to. Thought I would look again when they were all done and out of the house. On my sons graduation day from Law school 3 weeks ago, I said to my self, its time to revisit the corvette thing. I looked on Carvana and a "similar car" was listed for sale. I looked at the car fax report and it turns out it was the very same car I had ordered from Chevy. I bought it that very hour. One of the happiest days of my life. Some one really took excellent care of her. It looks and smells like the day I sold it. One of the happiest days of my life. The story gives my friends goose bumps. I still can not believe. She is never leaving me again. It will be going to the kids estate. I will post pictures later today. I am the first and third owner of that car. If you are the one that sold such a car to carvana in Michigan, and read this, please feel free to get in touch.
