Been lurking for years. Just joined. I now have a 2000 FRC with 35,000 miles. I am on my 16th Corvette and bought my first in the mid-70's. All of my previous Corvettes were C2 and C3.
Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on your C5!
Definitely some differences in feel between your C2s/C3s and your new to you C5. Yet, there is still something special about the older generations.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I actually have owned the FRC for 5 years now. 9 of my previous 15 Corvettes were solid lifter cars: Fuelie, 435's and LT-1's. I bought them back when they were relatively cheap, and relatively easy to find in good unrestored shape. Most were probably 10 years old at the time, give or take a few years.
