Hi, my name is Joshua and I just got my first Corvette. It’s a red 2004 with black interior. I didn’t plan on buying it but I watched it sit for the last two years collecting dust and tracked down the owner and begged him to let me wash it. He told me that he loved it but can’t take care of it anymore because he has his mother to take care of and that I could totally wash it and drive it if I wanted to. Next thing you know, we are talking numbers. Hahahahaa. He threw out a number that was so low that I couldn’t refuse. (Could you say no to a beautiful Corvette for $6000?) It’s completely stock with a few minor things that need to be fixed. 81,300 miles, runs great, and is an absolute blast to drive. I’ve been lurking on this awesome forum for about a week now and have fixed a few things.
I replaced the hazard switch, I went into the climate control module to re-solder the resistors but someone had already been into it and did a horrible job on them so I ordered new resistors and am going to solder them in when they show up. Oil change and fluids of course. Tires soon as well. The only options that it has I think are the 12 disc CD changer and both removeable tops.
