Hello! Lurking for a while, but haven't posted anything yet. I am an amateur tinkerer, enjoyer of 3D Design/Printing and making art.
Car is a 2008 C6 Corvette Base, A6, Jetstream Blue 2LT. Currently still a huge work in progress for a build, but here's what has been done so far:
Carbon Creations ZR2 Carbon Fiber Widebody Fenders + Quarter Panels
Z06 Front Bumper Cover
C6.5 Wickerbill spoiler
Morimoto C7 Style Headlights
Morimoto Halo Tail Lights
Laser Side Markers
3D Printed Front Emblem
K&N Cold Air Intake
Before I ruined the car 1/2 Before I ruined the car 2/2
Still have a long way to go, but will hopefully document my progress when I am done. Needs a paint job/wrap, performance parts, and more things to tie in my final vision. I know it's not for everybody, but I do it because it makes me happy! Looking forward to interacting with the community!
Welcome to the Forum, Zay, and congratulations on your C6!
As far as the bodywork - some will like it and some will not. Ultimately we have to do….or not do….to our cars what we prefer.
Personally, I like your add on body parts, and like them better when painted, but I certainly understand not painting the carbon fiber work. (See….we each have our own preferences). And we share many of their ZR pieces - yours in C6 and mine inC5.
Enjoy your ride and save the wave!

Welcome to the forum. I definitely wouldn’t say you have ruined the car - you are making it into a version you like better and at the end of the day, you are the only one you have to please with the changes that are made. I like the wide body look, so looks pretty good to me.
