Hello everyone, I've been lurking here for a couple of months, but I figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself and the car. A little background on the car, it belonged to my father who passed away last year (8-1-2022). He purchased the car sometime in mid-late 60's, originally a 283ci mated to a powerglide. He pulled that combo out and installed a solid lifter 350ci with Muncie M21 coupled with a 4.11 posi which he ran for a bit before blowing it up at the drag strip ~1971. An L79 327ci was installed with a set of 492 heads (2.02/1.60 64cc) which is how I came to possess it. The car largely sat unused in the garage from the 80's through last year. For the last few months, I've been slowly getting the old girl back to fighting shape by going through each system.
