"new" c4
My father and I just bought a '91 C4 as a driving project. We had been discussing a track roadster or perhaps a lakes modified, for a fair weather "race about" but the price was good enough on this one, and it already drives. Dad used to race corvettes in the 60s and 70s, so if it needs some minor fiberglass work he believes he can handle it. No major issues, yet, we'll see.i'm sure we'll get it whipped into whatever shape we choose soon enough.

Soon, probably Wednesday, ish. Thank you.
Thank you.
Will do, thank you.

I appreciate that, thank you.

I'm looking forward to tinkering, thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you from Alaska.
Thank you.
I'll have a slight delay on the pictures, and I apologize to all of you who have so kindly asked, but we've had an issue I was hoping to prevent.
No Start, No Fuel - CorvetteForum - Chevrolet Corvette Forum Discussion
I previously posted about what fuel pump should I get. Not that I knew ours was bad, but it's 34 years old with no maintenance history, and no idea how many times it's run dry, or seen contamination. Now I may get to put whatever pump I can get here, as we are at Dad's winter place in Arizona. I'm sure you'll all understand why I don't post the address, but we're near the town of Queen Creek.

Welcome to the C4 brotherhood , and Godspeed on the track
Thank you.

It was fairly easy, since I had the X brace down. I would have to at least drop that diagonal to get in there with my ham sized fists.
I don't know if the ZR1 cars are the same, but the wrench sizes were 20mm on the filter, and 16mm on the line nut.
If it's been a while, you might want to have the o-rings handy, as they don't come with the filter. Mine were fine, which is good as I left the ones I bought, with the filter I had bought in Alaska.

I did finish the new pump install this morning, drove it some, primary fan relay went out. Fortunately I had seen a video where someone showed where they are and a simple troubleshooting technique (swap the pigtails, relay to relay). I got the primary working, bought a replacement relay, only to discover the secondary isn't getting power. From what I read that means I get to hunt down the fuse like by the battery, in with the rats nest of other fuse links by the battery (probably not terrible, I just didn't want to burn daylight doing it today). Cools nice on the freeway anyhow.
