Just picked up an ‘89 convertible with a ZF six speed. A new toy to play with.
Already picked up some good pointers from this forum (got a pair of emergency hood release cables on the way). Looking forward to more.

Thanks for the welcome, Gents.
This car will never be a show car. Original engine has been replaced with an iron head truck engine with a carburetor. But, it runs good, was cheap, and, most important to me, it’s a convertible with a manual transmission.
Looking forward to the ride.

The list is fairly long, mostly electrical, but all the major components, i.e. engine, transmission, rear end, frame and body, all appear to be good.
