I recently joined the forum to learn more about specific problems others have experienced with their C5 and C6 Corvettes, I owed a 1974 for about 15 years and used it as a daily driver. I sold it after a back surgery limited my ability to drive the vehicle and have missed the pleasure of owning a vette ever since then. I am doing research on several cars now to determine what will be more fun and reliable. The forum has been very helpful with this research. Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy New Year!

Welcome, Hugh! I have owned a C5, currently own a C6, and I can tell you that you would be happy with a quality example of either. It sounds like you’ve done your homework and now it’s time to zero in on your Corvette of choice. As you probably know, this is the best time of the year to buy one. The right one may not be the closest one. Good luck with your search and let us know how things turn out.
