Hello everyone from the Great White North. Longtime reader (hate that term lurker) and have been trying to absorb a little of the vast knowledge that exists here. I've had a '72 for many years but since late last year i was on the hunt for a later C6 with the LS3. Once you get to a certain age, it comes a time where you just have to look at your stuff and start to rationalize. When was the last time I drove/rode it and why. Do my kids actually want it and could they use it? Anyway, I finally found a really nice '09, 41000 miles, auto, 3LT, optional diff, NPP's and Gumbys. The yellow on black was a bonus and in mint shape. Just like the "78 I used to walk past on the dealer lot on my way to college back in the day. Sold the '72, Oldest son took my other sports car as early inheritance. Sold the bike. Tools were off limits. So instead of a beautiful car that I look at all day, I now have a beautiful car that I can drive all day, every day and do so, The boss likes the comfort and room, it's easier for her to drive, road trips are a breeze. I miss the C3 but I'm loving the C6.
Cheers.
This car started its journey in Missouri and somehow made its way up north to Saskatchewan. Well taken care of and believe the previous 2 owners used to take it to car shows. I have a laminated copy of the window sticker that came with the car.
