Hello. Long-time former lurker here. I've learned quite a lot from this forum and appreciate everyone's expertise and enthusiasm. This is my very first post on ANY forum, not just this one. I had to read a lot to learn how to make a post and attach a photo. After owning several cars over my lifetime, I made a "bucket list" purchase of my very first Corvette in 2024; this grey 2010 Grand Sport Coupe 6spd manual. It's a blast to drive and it satisfied my wife's one-and-only criteria..."get a car with a targa top". BOOM! Mission accomplished! Unfortunately, I may have to sell it. Recent knee and leg injury makes it very difficult to climb out of the car. But when I sit down to write my 'for sale' ad, I get reluctant to sell because it's too awesome! Anyway, I'm on the forum now, the car is covered in the garage waiting for me to make a decision. Thanks for welcoming me into the Corvette world. And thanks for all the great tips and tricks I've learned here.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you may have to sell so soon. A bad knee forced me out of my 2013 427 due to it being a manual. Fortunately, I can still get in and out of my C6 conv and C7 Z06 with auto trans and my C8 Z06 has the DCT so I can still enjoy them without pain.
