Default Missouri Front Plate???

I'd hate to ruin the look of the front of my C5 with a plate, but i know Missouri requires both. Has anyone had experience here with leaving it off? Please advise!

My loving small community North of KC looks for them to not be on.
So I hear. I ran around a few times and didn't get caught.
Mine now has the front plate on..

I've been running around with the front plate on the dash slid under the windshield as far as it'll go with no problems.

I've never had the front plate attached to my C5, 8 years now, no problem with the LEO's. My neighbor across the street got a ticket for not having a front plate on his C4. That was the only reason he was stopped. I do run the plate on my other cars.
