Sorry couldn't make it. How did the install go? Since you had a lift I assume you put the headers in from below? Or did they have to go in from the top?

Install went ok. I broke a valve cover bolt and we may have broken a wire on an 02 sensor or 2. I didn't have the extenders so that slowed things down. Ended up going from above with the new headers. Also we may have stripped out a hole in each manifold. But we only used 5 bolts to mount the headers,

I like the headers. I would suggest asking them when you order if it comes with 02 sensor extenders. If not order some. Mine aparently didn't. Also get some of the heat protector stuff for the sensor wires. Fit is good. Also I suggest putting in the rear 02 sensors before you mount the pipe. This will keep you from twisting the wires up and damaging them. Also I would get a tunnel Plate from CCA and install it at the same time. The holes in the plate make it convienent to run the 02 wires above it so they arn't resting on the pipes. And I got cats

Also if you want to make your life much easier on the install buy 02 simulators and don't run rear sensors.

Did you get the SIMMS? if so, from where? if not have you had any issues/codes from the rear sensors? or did you get them turned off right away?

And just to make sure I am understanding this correctly, the only reason you are getting something from the fronts is cause of the 1 or 2 cut wires?

TY VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND INPUT!

I don't know yet why I am getting them from the front. To be honest. I know I had to splice the wires since I didn't get extenders. Any number of things could be wrong. It could be that the wires melted because I didn't secure them away from the headers well. Or the sensor could be bad. Or maybe the connectors I used to splice the wireing is bad. I won't know till this weekend at the soonest. Maybe a couple weeks because of the stupid holiday

Well I replaced both fronts today with extenders instead of them being spliced. No more codes for now. I am a happy man. Now I just need louder exhaust.

I knew that would fix it. Same crap happen to me when we did my last set on my 99 z28. I just forgot the extenders.

I have my LT's, off-road x-pipe, ls6 intake and she is running like a champ.

It's loud with my Borla XR1's
