Default Denver Radar Warning!!!!!!

Heads Up!!

After seeing the motorcycle officer (yes, MotoCop!!!) in the shadows (no lights... sidewalk in the MEDIAN.... sneaky bazztard...) at 7 PM tonight on the way home, holding a hand-operated speed detection (money-making) device, it dawned on me that after 60 days of snow on the ground, the local LEO's are probably way behind on revenue generation.

Keep your eyes open during the next couple of days (weeks?). It's bad to get a ticket anytime, but even worse as your jammin' to Aerosmith on your way home from errands in your daily driver....

Stay cool; eyes open

If anyone lives in the Littleton area, beware. They have been radaring none stop for the last 4 or 5 days. Unmarked, marked and bike out in full force.

Thanks for the heads up, but keep in mind that it doesn’t do the rest of us any good unless you tell us where you see them. I saw one yesterday in the left shoulder of I-70 soon after you go under I-225 behind a concrete wall. And another on I-70 and Kipling with his driver’s door open and the radar looking back at on coming traffic.

225-S, just past the Parker onramp. at the bottom of the hill there is an entrance for the electic box for the light rail. they park there.

225-N. just past the 25 onramp. at night they stop right in the middle of that right hand sweep.

2 aurora spots. Parker Road North. Just past Cherry creek park entrance.
they stop at the top of that little rise. before the 225 onramps.

also. Quincey west. jest west of Buckely. The park right at the Quincey resevoir entrance.

Tried that. Granny was flipping me off and blasting her horn at me as she passed me on C470 doing 80 MPH... and I was doing the speed limit!

By the way.... didn't I see a Valentine stuck to your windshield? And I'm not talking the type for your sweetheart.

Of course, like you, I sometimes can be guilty of CRS!
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I have nothing against LEO's slowing traffic to the legal speed limit IF the limit is appropriate for the design of the road AND they're doing it for safety, but 99% of the time speeding tickets are written to generate revenue, just like traffic light cameras! Numerous studies have shown that the cameras cause more accidents than they prevent and cause people more money.... they're just installed to generate more revenue.... and don't even get me started on the inappropriate timing of the yellow lights in Denver... inconsistent and many of them are WAY too short to be safe.

Join the National Motorists Association and support sane traffic laws and enforcement!!

Default Laser this past Friday night....

Looks like they're just gonna pop up everywhere.... more prevalent here than back in Knoxville.

Cop with handheld laser, shoulder of I-25, northbound, just past the Hampden Ave. onramp, very dark, Friday night (3/2/07) 7:20 pm.... dangerous spot... standing with the door open, all lights off (including interior lights with door open?).... but remember folks, there is no quota, it just 'happened' to be the beginning of the month

So they're using laser here now...... Anyone know what all the equipment is that they use here to trap...uh, I mean catch, speeders, um, spirited drivers???
