Wow, what a thread. Just my 2 cents worth...I recently had work done on my car and after talking to a lot of shops I decided to go with Rod (Nitrous Junkie) He was very professional, always returned calls within minutes (some didn't call back for days, not DRE but other shops just so you know) his prices were right inline with everyone as well. When I went to his shop I liked what he showed me and how he explained things (I'm as far from a mechanic as you can get) Others were good as well I just made the choice to use him and he has done great by me. He has done some extras for me as well and didn't charge or didn't charge as much as other shops quoted. I was impressed by Dragon when I talked to Peter and also by Kenny at KAZ in the springs. They all sounded like they knew their stuff but I just decide to use Rod and have no regrets what so ever. Would DRE and KAZ have done the same quality work...probably but once again I just made a decision and have no regrets.

Frank

PS--I've never met Peter or been to DRE and the same goes for Kenny at KAZ and Rod at Dewild before I had this work done. Life is full of choices and I made one.

If you wanted to run for fun than that’s easy to say. You didn’t do that and started talking crap to someone that your not buddies with. Again what did you expect?

This is why I enjoy racing friends and not people that jump on the forum to talk ****.

You should have got the point 3 pages ago but I guess you cant figure it out.

Thanks Frank. This wasn’t about the shop stuff but it was tossed in because someone wanted to open their mouth.

It's all internet fun. This section needed some spice anyway.

Lets Compare road racing to NAS CAR because that’s what it sound like your comparing it to. ....I'm sure that’s all you know.

An extra 100 at a push of a button cant hurt.

Keep up the good work
WHAT?

Why are you comparing nascar, roadracing or anything? We all have VETTES. Good thing about a Vette is it can do it all...So why be scared to drag race or run on the highway? You install nitrous on your car and we all know its not for road racing...

With your guys comments on here and quotes on DREs site...I figured you guys were down for some action? Thats all. No need for all the extra drama....

I hear ya, besides I have the slowest car out of all of you so I'll just sit here and be a good boy Just as an FYI I know Rod likes to race cars. I think that is his stress reliever just like some people go dancing every weekend or go to the movies on Fridays. He likes to race win or lose. I don't think he meant to insult anyone but this is just my opinion so take it for what it's worth.

You hate CC? Why? You've had personal dealings? There should be no hate

Cornfed said hes a road racer...Cool What is my professional undertone? Nitrous is usually not a road race mod...

OK LETS TALK ABOUT LOSS OF LICENSE COMMENT AND PASS ON STREET RACE you mentioned above.....Talk the talk on DREs web Site....Is the quote a misprint on the site?
AS Justin quoted on DREs web site..."and anyone who wants to test that theory can look for me on the streets, although it will be hard to hear what I have to say from two car lengths behind me"

I figured with that kind of quote...you'd be game to run?

I WANT TO TEST THAT THEORY....I WILL PUT BUS LENGTHS ON YOU....
People who do not like me for some reaosn also like to look at my site, I understand, American is the land of dreams....

I admit, I was pumping for the site, in good fun, thanks for calling it out. Since then, have two friends who went to jail for a fun night on a "quiet little street" and I am not interested in it. On the bottle, I would rape you anyways. (and mine is not hidden)

FYI, I do not measure sucess by number of employees, just level of responsibility. And yes, some of them are on here, and they do care.

You are right, there is no professional undertone with you, good point.

There is always someone faster, it can be me, Aaron, or you. Speed is a measure of time and money, class is not.

Next topic, this was fun, but I am over it.

The point was and is, Peter did a good job for me, yes I have personal experience with CC and others.

Sorry to have this get so lost.

Thanks DRE. The end.

I find it interesting with a quote like this off of a website....That a guy like that would not back down to any car.....

A quote like that says to me "COME AND GET IT"...I guess street racing has evolved to big quotes on the web and no action. Maybe Im just old school.

And you say youd rape me when you use nitrous.....LETS FIND OUT. I GOT SOME GREEN THAT SAYS I'LL PUT BUSLENGTHS ON YOU....When your fear is over let me know when you want to get broke off.

TALK IS CHEAP NIGHTDRIVER.....Now get back to your keyboard racing. You know you cant race that DRE dyno sheet forever. LOL

I have made no claims. It's a shocker that your making stuff up again.

I have only ran two cars on the street in the last 3 years and they were friends. Ask Eric if you feel the need. It's a felony and if you want to take that chance than go for it.

Not all people mod their car to do what you enjoy.

Get over it and stop crying.

You are old school, always trying to prove something. Little you know what syndrome.

Some green? I can't bear the thought of you not having money to buy your boyfriends dinner when you take them crusing...... I have enough of my own, but thanks anyway.

Again, you win, you're the coolest, fastest person with the best car on here, better than anything anyone else has ever built. Supercool, oldschool bad, we all wish we were you, pulling buslengths and all. We are all in awe.....

Now, are we talking Greyhound "bus lengths" or lengths of the bus you use for daily transportation?

Not taking sides at all.... Rod's car is what it is, fast! Rod knows how to drive and has been racing for a looong time and his Dad knows his stuff when it comes to racing engines (former NHRA crew chief or something like that Rod?). When Rod says his heads are ported/milled/ stage x - that means there is nothing left on the table to be had out of them, he's getting it all! I have seen his port work and milling jobs and it is a sight to behold and as we ALL know the true power is in the heads...

Yeah the only problem I'm starting to have is a couple of the guys on here are making way to many personal remarks. All I've heard Rod do is challenge the others and they keep insulting him in ways unrelated to cars or racing. Theres no place for that! If the race offer isn't going to be accepted drop it and quit responding to the post with all the negative personal insults. If you want to argue speed or HP or torque so be it but keep it on that level. We are all adults on this forum after all.

Frank, how about not hyjacking a thread putting downs someones car, calling him out, and then calling them all "little girls"... not sure where you are from, but in my world that is insulting, and it will be responded to. No one said anything disrespectful to or about Rod until he piped up, to the contrary, all have openly respected his speed. Perhaps it should have stoped there, however, he kept it up.

The bottom line is that he could not stand to see DRE get any credit for doing a good job without getting in the middle and getting some attention, pathetic really, but I guess that is how it is.

If you want to race for fun, then say it, but calling someone out putting down their car is going to get the same thrown back at you.

To Thanks Peter!

It was all fun and games when it was just between friends and that was my whole point. I don’t know about others but I don’t take it personally and I doubt he has.

If your personally offended then ask him to stop posting and that’s that. It takes two to tango and we are all adults here.

Thanks for your time.

This wasn't a hijack just thoughts from my point of view. And for what its worth the insults started at post 30 and it wasn't Rod. And for asking him to stop he hasn't responded in about 10 posts. Was just trying to point out how off track this had gotten. I think this has gotten stupid and unlike yourselves I will take the high road and not post anymore. Enjoy your night and I guess have fun if thats what you call this. Feel free to PM if you have anything further to say to me.

Just so others don’t get offended. I hang out at the same sonic several times a month that Rod hangs out at and with all the bashing that come out of street racing I have no doubt he has thick skin and has not taken this personally.

Apparently I need to clarify for some people. Get ready here it comes…..

Sorry to turn you down and miss out on the chance of earning a felony.
