Oh he is right by Hanksville Hotrods.... does he do a really good job..?? I like he is only 5 minutes from where I live! can anybody attest to his expertise??
I can, he has worked on my cars, along with others we know. He is also better and more trustworthy that others mentioned in this thread from personal experience, not hear-say.
If he is that close, go down and talk to him. He and his wife are a hoot and huge car / HP junkies..
Well I went to see Bill after talking to him last week.. He wasn't there but I have a long conversation with his wife... I will be using him for all my tuning needs..
I did my comp cams trunion upgrade last night.. very easy.. got all the way to the end and I was missing 1 retaining clip so I will be having a heated conversation with comp cams on monday.

Beautiful work on the chambers and ports. How much compression are you going to run? As you probably know, if you are going to stay N/A at this altitude, compression is your friend! Here in the valley at 7500', I'm running my 416 stroker at just a bit under 12 to 1 and it does fine on 91 Octane premium.

Jimbo
Should be pretty close to stock they only took 6 thousands off the deck.
On N/A I would be in the high 11's.. I am running 10.6 with my pro-charged 383.. Elevation is a killer and figure we lose a point easily on static compression just with our elevation!
ok heads will be done tomorrow afternoon. and then on the car saturday to hopefully fire her up saturday night...! I will be drinking beer to calm my excitement so it might take longer!!!
Well I did a bunch of work sunday with my buddy cody, we went to the Colorado Speed and Performance BBQ on saturday. enjoyed meeting some new people. the flow bench was giving Cory a hard time but its finally figured out and the heads are ready for thursday this week I think. Got all the centennial parts in and HID fog lights done, polished UCA's and swapped out all the fluids for Redline products.
The guy who did all the machine work on my roomy's hummer - he did custom brackets to mount tractor trailer steering gear to the H1, recommended this guy to tune my vette:
So, i talked to him today and i feel pretty comfortable. Of course I will wait to see how Bill works out for you as well before making my final decision. I'm sure they all do good stuff. Harvey is flying out in june to meet with the guy who made our ECMs to fine hone his skills.
Hey are you going to trailer your car to the shop? You're not going to try to drive on a huge cam with no tune right?
